Most people come to the Clinic seeking individual therapy. We also offer group therapy for certain issues, and couples therapy.
The Clinic offers individual therapy that is tailored to your needs. Individual therapy begins with a 2-3 hour initial consultation with a therapist. The goal is for you and your therapist to decide how best to understand and deal with your concerns.
Common Approaches
Often one person’s therapy will combine features of these two approaches, and perhaps others that are known to help with the issues that concern you. All of these methods involve talking with your therapist with the goal of seeking to understand and resolve your difficulties together.
Sessions usually occur once weekly, although sometimes it works better to meet more often. Sessions are 45 minutes long. We do not have arbitrary limits on the number of sessions you can have with your therapist.
