Gary is a post-MSW fellow at the Psychological Clinic. He received his B.S. from Loyola Marymount University in 1995 and his MSW from the University of Michigan in 2009. He completed his MSW internship at the Psychological Clinic in 2009.
Gary has broad clinical interests in issues related to both individuals and couples. He co-leads the Clinic's workshop on enhancing resilience for graduate students conducting foreign fieldwork.
Karina Oppenheimer, Ph.D. Post-Doctoral Fellow
Karina Oppenheimer, Psy.D., is a post-doctoral fellow for the Institute for Human Adjustment. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Loyola University Maryland and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Notre Dame. She has primarily worked in adult outpatient treatment centers including multiple community mental health clinics and college treatment centers.
She has specialized training in treating eating disorders and body images concerns. Her other areas of clinical interest include cognitive behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder and worry); health psychology/adjustment to chronic medical conditions; mood disorders; and interpersonal concerns. She is active in supervising beginning doctoral psychology students.
